Create Your Own Tie

Allow your child to express themselves, by creating a tie with their favorite things drawn on it.  This is a great opportunity to discuss with your child exactly what they value most, and the true value of family and friends.  Furthermore, this also provides a chance to discuss the importance of thanking people and showing them that you care.  Choose one of the ties below to download and print, then simply follow the instructions.

Create Your Own Story Book

Allow your child to express themselves, by creating a book with their favorite things/memories.  This activity allows for you to talk to your child about their favorite memories with someone.  Why did a particular memory stand out to them?  I love this activity because parents are always surprised at what some of their children come up with.  Download and print the file below, then simply have your child fill in the information and draw a picture.
